Privacy Policy

Who runs this site

AVISA is a product of BudTech LLC, an IT and software company in Muscat, Oman. BudTech runs this site on its own servers, and "we" on this page means BudTech.

What we collect

When you send a request through the form on this site, we receive what you enter:

• your name
• your email address
• your phone number
• your message

The form also notes which page you sent it from. We log the IP address behind each submission too, and use it only to limit spam, for example by capping how many submissions one address can send in a short time.

How your request reaches us

Your request is emailed to BudTech at [email protected] and kept in the site's database. We use it to reply to you about a demo of AVISA or the question you sent.

Analytics

We do not run advertising trackers on this site. We do run analytics: a copy of PostHog that BudTech hosts on its own server. It records which pages are visited, roughly how people scroll and click, and which country a visit comes from, worked out from the IP address. It may also record a session as a replay of what happened on the page; anything typed into a form field is masked, so it is never captured. This data stays on that server and is not shared with PostHog. Recordings are deleted after 30 days, and the rest of this data after two months.

Outside services

Three outside services are part of how this site works:

• WhatsApp: the WhatsApp buttons on this site open a chat with us. Opening that link passes you to WhatsApp, and what happens there is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy, not this one.
• Cloudflare: every request to this site passes through Cloudflare, which protects it and delivers it quickly. Cloudflare sees your IP address and what your browser sends, including the form, and handles it under its own privacy policy.
• Claude (Anthropic): to understand how visitors use the site, we may give Claude, an AI service from Anthropic, a US company, extracts of our analytics data, including from the session recordings. They never include names, IP addresses or anything typed into a form, and Anthropic handles them under its own terms and privacy policy, not this one.

Cookies and browser storage

This site keeps two things of its own in your browser. A cookie and your browser's local storage remember whether you browse in English or Arabic, so you do not have to choose again. Our analytics keeps an anonymous identifier in a cookie and in local storage, so it can tell one visit from the next. Neither tracks you on other sites or feeds any advertising system. You can clear both in your browser settings at any time.
